About: As part of a multi-million dollar redevelopment of the facility, works were undertaken to upgrade and transform the AFL standard playing surface including start of the art drainage and irrigation systems

A 100mm layer of gravel, 8000m3 of sand and four kilometres of drainage pipes forms the base of the turf with a winter green couch grass overgrown with rye.
